In recent years Uganda has started to grow at quite a fast pace, still it is among the poorest country in the world.

About 67% of Ugandans are either poor or highly vulnerable to poverty, spending from $1.20 to $2.40 per day . Even those who are below the poverty line are likely to fall back into poverty.

Self-employment and economic independence of each individual and the related community are of vital importance for social development. That is why micro credit is so effective to fight poverty and help individuals to sustain themselves and be empowered with self-management, professional and  active citizenship skills.

Financial contributions are key for us to be able to expand our program’s needs and to continue to produce real impact in people’s life. Currently the needs far outweigh the available funds. Almost all fund-raising and administrative time is donated to the organization, so your contribution can be used almost entirely for direct program outreach.

Contributions are tax deductible in many countries and we regularly report to donors on achievements and progress of our work.
