Getting energy out of food waste

Mulago clients group develop a project of briquette making as an alternative energy fuel made out of wood and charcoal.  Women collect all the house waste from food to be recycled to fuel-briquettes.  They are able to save on their energy consumption as well as earn income from a nearby market where they take their briquettes which are often are all sold off the same day.
